All about perfection

The Wikipedia defines perfection as a state of completeness and flawlessness. The question is ‘is everything perfect?’ The answer is no.  But there are some things which are perfect. God is perfect. The nature is perfect. The reason for writing this post is basically about the perfection of nature. Every single day I realize how perfect the nature is. Even now as I sit beside an open window at 1am looking at a peaceful night, only disturbed by the planes flying at low altitude.

We certainly are imperfect. We can’t even verbalize our thoughts properly. Neither is our behavior. Superiority and self centeredness often come in our way. None of us are perfect and we just have to accept it. It is evident in every single thing we do. All the achievements which we feel we have made so far are not complete and flawless. As days pass on more mistakes tend to arise.

All the talk on global warming, environmental pollution etc, ‘are we causing an imbalance in the otherwise perfect nature due to our imperfection?’ I feel the answer is yes.

Coming to individual imperfection, how do we deal with it? Just accepting it and trying not to judge others. Remembering that we do have our flaws. I came to this conclusion because I am tired of people judging me. If I don’t like it, certainly others won’t. Since we see things from our frame of references, its better not to judge. After all we are not mind readers to know exactly the other person's thought process. Even if we are mind readers I don't think we can empathize properly.

I think I have written enough, so coming back to lighter topics; the last week was full of activity; exams, labs and lectures in between. Finally my test 2 series is over except for spom, which was postponed and I don’t know the modified date. My t2 coc score was not bad and I should admit I am surprised. Ams is boring as usual.

P.S.: Accepting our imperfection doesn't mean we stop trying for perfection.
