There isn’t much to write about other than the date today. I just wanted to write something today to make sure the date remains in the list somewhere.

Atleast there isn’t anything much positive. My T2 hasn’t gone well neither are my projects. I being the great mind forgot to take the 2 factor into consideration while calculating the depth of cut and hence ended with a negative value. Further adding to the embarrassment I forgot an important meeting today; with the diwali holidays I can only meet my prof. next Thursday.

Looking on the other side, I am going home today (not without work though). 4 days of freedom and pampering.

Hill station

Cyclonic depressions in Bay of Bengal are not uncommon occurrences. But this is the first time (mind you, in my limited short period of observance) it has such a profound effect on bphc. The last few times, there were clouds and incessant rain. But now this place resembles a hill station; sky fully covered with clouds and the constant drizzling. The elevation of the institute also helped.

I don’t mind the feeling of living in ooty; in fact it is pleasant enough for most part of the day. But the only downside is the unavailability of hot water in the morning; which is too sad on my part.
